Which do you prefer - Dolby Digital or DTS?

A lot depends on the recording itself and who is doing the recording certain studios will prefer DTS so they actually take more care in producing it and so the Dolby Digital soundtrack is just added as an after thought...This was particularly true a few years ago when DTS first came out, it was new and alternative so Dolby got put on the back burner, for a while, but the truth is they are not that dissimilar and good results can be had going either way...Studios that use DTS seem to be making a statement though, and generally speaking take more care...I think that Dolby True HD has changed that though as many newer blu rays are coming out making a statement by using Dolby True HD which has better quality than both DTS and Dolby digital...
